David Pinney

 

While I have Lived in Somers all my life, the more  relevant background is that which prepares me to serve as your first selectman.  I served on the Zoning Commission , 16 years on the School Board, and chaired a Charter Revision Commission.  Most significantly, I have served for the past six years as First Selectman.  In addition to working with all departments, boards and commissions , I am a member of the executive committee of the Capitol Region Council of Governments and a director of the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities.  We face challenges at all levels.  I am engaged at all levels to help make sure Somers can meet those challenges

 

Kathy Devlin

 

As a Somers resident for 35 years, I have served 27 years on the Library Board and on the 1980 School Expansion Committee, Firehouse Building Committee, School Strategic Planning, and the Plan of Conservation and Development steering Committee.  As an Employer Market Director for Johnson and Johnson Health Care Systems Inc., I work with decision makers from Fortune 40 companies.  In my eight years as Selectman I have applied my business experience of managing personnel, negotiating contracts, budgeting, long rage and strategic planning, and decision making.  I am committed to representing the needs of Somers residents.
