to the Somers Historical Society. The Historical Society was founded in
1962 for the purpose of uniting people who love history, customs, traditions,
old artifacts and historic buildings. It encourages the preservation and
special displays of artifacts and documents that pertain to Somers' past.
The Society's
headquarters is the Somers Historical Museum, located on the common in
the town of Somers, Connecticut. |
