Public Schools - Open Forum

The Somers Board of Education, along with Interim Superintendent of Schools, Jay Chittum, invites parents and members of the Somers community to a public forum at 6:00 p.m. on January 29, 2007 in the Somers High School media center. This forum is the third in a series of meetings open to the public to discuss educational matters of interest. Mr. Chittum and members of the board will be available to respond to a variety of subjects that may be of interest to the community.

The public forum will be followed at 7:00 p.m. by an opportunity for parents and community members to meet with the search consultant from the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education and discuss the leadership profile for the new Superintendent of Schools. The board welcomes the public’s attendance at either or both of these important events.
