$1000.00 Visual Arts Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded each spring to a graduating high school senior who is a resident of Somers, CT, and will be entering a college, accredited art school or professional school to major in any of the visual arts, including the fine and applied arts, dance, or art education.  This $1000.00 scholarship is awarded based on artistic achievement and dedication to the visual arts.  The scholarship application consists of submitting a personal statement about your artistic achievements and career objectives, and a portfolio of work or video of a dance performance.  Applications may be obtained from and returned to the Somers High School Guidance Office.  An application may also be dowloaded here and turned into the Somers High School Guidance Office.

The deadline for application this year is Thursday, May 18, 2008.
