Somers Republicans

The Somers Republicans are dedicated to supporting qualified Republican candidates seeking to serve the Town of Somers.

RTC meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM in a room downstairs at the Town Hall. (This is only until the children's library is out of the Kibbe- Fuller building.)

May 21 st Meeting will include a talk from Jason Gould, who is the head of the College Republicans at UCONN at Storrs .

Ed Sullivan was named Republican of the year for 2007. Ed retired as the Town of Somers Treasurer last November, 2007 after serving our town for over fifteen years. He worked diligently to keep our towns finances in balance, as well as acting as the financial caretaker for the Somers cemetery plots.

He is the treasurer for the RTC as well as for the Rotary Club and helps out every year at the Four Town Fair booth. He always answers the call for needed delegates and anything else that might be asked of him.

He and his wonderful wife, Carolyn still make their home in Somers with their little dog, Buffy.
