Weddings for non-members?

Yes, it is possible to be married at the Somers Congregational Church even though you are not a member. Our pastor and organist are happy to work with you to make your wedding a happy and meaningful experience in keeping with the traditions and guidelines of the church. The first step you will need to take is to telephone the church in order to get an application form and rate schedule and to check for availability of a date and time for your wedding. Once you have submitted the application, you will sit down with the pastor to plan your unique wedding. You will also meet with the organist to choose music to make your wedding a special event full of memories to last a life time.

Funerals for nonmembers?

Our pastor is available to conduct memorial services and funerals for people who have not been members of the church. Arrangements for these may be made through your funeral director or by calling our church office. In addition to leading the service, the pastor also available to offer support as you face this difficult time in your life.
