CELEBRATION SERVICE 10AM DINNER 12PM
2008 IS THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MINISTRY OF THE REV. DR. BARRY CASS
TO SOMERS CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH
A Celebratory Service will commence at 10 am in the Sanctuary and will include special music, presentations and
guests. The Celebration will continue in the Foundation Room with dinner at 12pm.
Tickets for dinner will go on sale Sundays at Coffee Hour: April 20, April 27, May 4 and May 11. By mail-(a check
to SCC with number attending on memo line.)
The price will be $7 adults + $4 children (under 10) and $25 limit per family. No reservations accepted after May 11.
Annual BIG Tag Sale

8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Somers Congregational Church will be holding their Annual Indoor "Big
Tag Sale" from 8:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3rd. The church is
located at 599 Main Street/Route 190 near the intersection of Route 83 in
Somers, CT. There is ample parking and will be held rain or shine. The
Annual "Big Tag Sale" has something for e
veryone and continues to grow
larger each year. The church members donate thousands of items to be sold
from tools to toys, furniture, jewelry, seasonal decor, books and more.
Mark this date on your calendar and bring a friend!
Donation Drop Off: Sunday, April 27th (5 pm-8pm)
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, April 28th - April 30th (9 am – 7 pm)
We regret that we cannot accept any clothes, large exercise equipment or items weighing more than 50 lbs. with the exception of furniture.
Mother’s Day Breakfast
Looking for a way to show Mom how special she is? We have the solution for you and it’s free( but we won’t tell her)
Bring Mom on Mother’s Day Sunday May 11, 2008, to church for a wonderful breakfast. We will be serving quiche, fruit cup,
cereal, muffins, coffee, juice. All moms are free. Everyone else is $5.00 with a maximum cost of $20.00. Breakfast is served
from 8:30 to 10:00. So come after the 8:15 service or before the 10:00 service. What a great way to show mom you care.
Reservations aren’t needed but if you can call the office to let us know how many you have coming. Remember every Mom
loves to not have to cook a meal
