Notice is hereby given that the Annual Town Meeting to act on the following items will be held on Monday, May 12, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Auditorium:


  1. To elect a moderator.


  1. To consider the annual budget for 2008-2009 fiscal year as proposed by the Board of Finance, with expenditures and revenues each recommended at $28,538,328.


  1. To approve transfers within the 2007-2008 budget as recommended by the Board of Finance but each individually exceeding $20,000. Details of these transfers are available for review at the office of the Town Clerk.


  1. To set the date, time and place for a referendum to be conducted by machine vote on the question of adopting the annual budget as proposed, with the selectmen recommending the referendum be conducted on May 20, 2008, between the hours of 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM, at the Town Hall Auditorium.
