The board of library directors is responsible for:
1. reviewing and approving director’s annual budget recommendations and
submitting the information to the finance board.
2. assigning wages to library staff per recommendations received from the
director.
3. overall supervision of library functions working closely with the director.
This board is comprised of nine members serving six year terms. They are elected
at the regular town election and take office two weeks following the election.
