REGULAR MEETING

THURSDAY, March 20, 2003

7:00 P.M. – FIRE HOUSE

CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Bob McCulloch

Members Present: Bob McCulloch, David Palmer, Carl Rohrbach, Tony Bruno

and Alice Van Tasel

Others Present: Chief Bill Meier, Tom Mehl and Bill Bouchelle

MINUTES APPROVAL On a motion by Tony Bruno, seconded by Carl Rohrbach, the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 20, 2003

were unanimously approved.

AUDIENCE COMMENTS Tom Mehl reported that Fighter Greg Smith is serving with

The United State Marine Corp. in Iraq.

FIRE MARSHAL No Report

FIRE CHIEF Reported that the reduction in the gas allowance was not well

received by the volunteers.

BUDGET REVIEW The Fire Department and Ambulance budgets were reviewed.

The Fire budget will be tight in some areas but should be able to

make the year- end with a few adjustments. The Ambulance

budget is on track at this time.

FIRE COMMISSION ORDINANCE The draft of the Fire Commission Ordinance was reviewed and it was decided that the Commission members would write their suggestions to the Town Attorney’s draft and return them for the next meeting.

NEW BUSINESS None

ADJOURNMENT A motion to adjourn was made at 7:58 p.m. by Mr. Bruno,

Seconded by Mr. Rohrbach, and approved unanimously.

The Regular Meeting of April 17, 2003 will be canceled and a Special Meeting will be scheduled for April 24, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fire House.
