Ex-Officio:  K.Klein, B.Boutwell

Others:  D.Moser

The meeting was called to order at 7:10pm by J.Formeister.

Minutes of the 2/27/03 meeting were approved unanimously as presented (Cowles, Butler).

SHS---plans presented by D.Moser and reviewed.  He will look to add room for tractor trailer trucks to turn around behind SHS.  No extension of covered walkway.  Access to HVAC second floor shown.  Plumbing, structural, electrical, mechanical all shown in varying degrees of completion.

SES---relocation of oil, gas tanks, waiting for survey results. Lighting in new parking area.  New paved play area discussed—good location?  Need staff input.  New septic tank and siphon chamber located, demolish old.  Will check slope of driveway connecting SES and SHS parking areas.  Renovation of old shower area may not be completed, remain as storage.  Peak of roof at end of addition, for aesthetics, need a price estimate.  D.Moser stated budget is okay, as discussed at last meeting regarding changes at SES.

Schedule---survey is due 4/15/03.  Schedule presented from Rocco Roberts for obtaining local approvals.  Code plan has been started.  D.Moser stated we should plan on meetings the 4th Thursday of each month.  April 1 there will be meetings with SES and SHS staff to review plans.  Times will follow.

Old business---MBA plan reviewed.  50 new parking spots inside new bus loop for staff.  Discussion of entrance/exit of existing parking lot and what would be safest.  Water service now in back of building; may enter near gym in new plan.  Need to dig 8 holes around perimeter of septic system, probably during April vacation.  J.MacFeat will speak to town crew about doing this with their backhoe.

B.Boutwell stated the town treasurer had expressed need to possibly push out MBA project.  3-4% escalation would need to be added to each year.  Also we are bound by the state as to timeline and when we must break ground.  D.Moser will verify the date.

EDO49R’s have just been sent to the state. They show MBA costs as ineligible that are in fact reimbursable; that is how the state tracks them.

Bills were unanimously approved as follows (MacFeat, Broer)---to MPN, SES $16,637.62, 100% schematic design; to MPN, SHS $26,801.71, 100% schematic design, 40% design development.

Motion to adjourn at 8:50pm.

Respectfully submitted,

Joan Fromeister, Secretary
