                                               Regular Meeting Minutes

                                                       June 12, 2003

 

Call To Order: Chairman John Torres called the meeting to order at 7:40 PM.

 

Members Present: John Torres, James Meagher, Jr., Jim Beaulieu, Ken Young, Ed Mack; Pamela Lloyd and Dan Scully absent.  Ed Mack will be the Acting Secretary.

 

Public Hearing:  Ed Mack, Acting Secretary, read the Legal Notice for each application.

Pamela Lloyd arrived at 8:47 PM.

 

Motion made by Ed Mack to continue hearing of Mary Lou Gray of 476 Pinney Road to next ZBA meeting; seconded by Jim Meagher, Jr.  Motion approved unanimously.

 

Ed Mack recused himself from the Bruce Wood and David Gavlak hearing.

 

Motion made by Jim Beaulieu to end the public hearing; seconded by Pamela Lloyd.  Motion approved unanimously.  Public Hearing ended at 10:43 PM.

 

Minutes Approval - April 10, 2003 and May 15, 2003:  Motion made by Pamela Lloyd to approve the ZBA Regular Meeting Minutes for 4/10/03 as presented; seconded by Ed Mack.  Motion approved unanimously.

 

Motion made by Pamela Lloyd to approve the ZBA Special Meeting Minutes with the following corrections/additions:  "motion made by Jim Meagher, Jr. to continue the public hearing for Richard Pisciotta to the next ZBA meeting; seconded by Pamela Lloyd.  Approved" and "motion made by Dan Scully to continue the public hearing for Bruce Wood and David Gavlak to next ZBA meeting; seconded by Jim Meagher, Jr.  Motion approved unanimously."; seconded by Ken Young.  Motion approved unanimously.

Public Hearing Discussion/Decision: 

1.  Robert and Norma Gregoire

Motion made by Jim Beaulieu to cease discussion and vote on application of Norma and Robert Gregoire; seconded by James Meagher, Jr.  Board voted to unanimously approve the application.

 

2.  Pamela and Gregory Altieri

Motion made by Ed Mack to cease discussion and vote on Pamela and Gregory Altieri application; seconded by James Meagher, Jr.  James Meagher, Jr., Jim Beaulieu, Ed Mack and John Torres voted to deny; Ken Young voted to approve.  Application was denied.

 

3.  Margaret Broderick

The applicant withdrew their application.

 

4.  Andrew and Michele Tingley

Motion made by James Meagher, Jr. to cease discussion and vote on Andrew and Michele Tingley application.  Board voted unanimously to approve.

 

5.  Mary Lou Gray

This application will be continue to the next ZBA meeting.

 

6.  Richard Pisciotta

Motion made by Jim Beaulieu to cease discussion and vote on Richard Pisciotta application to allow for repair garage without sales of motor vehicles; seconded by James Meagher, Jr.  Board voted to unanimously to approve.

 

7.  Bruce Wood and David Gavlak

Motion made by James Meagher, Jr. to table decision to next meeting for Bruce Wood and David Gavlak; seconded by Ken Young.  Board voted unanimously to approve.

 

Old Business:  None.

 

New Business:  None.

 

Correspondence:  None.

 

Bills:  Motion made by Ed Mack to approve bills including Journal Inquirer in the amount of $448.59; seconded by Pamela Lloyd.  Board voted unanimously to approve.

 

Adjournment:  Motion made by Ed Mack to adjourn the meeting; seconded by Pamela Lloyd.
