I.                   CALL TO ORDER:

Vice Chairman Donald Smith called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m.

Present were: Vice Chairman Donald Smith and members Karl Walton, Maurice Rondeau, and Lise Wood.

II.                OLD BUSINESS:

a.      Discussion/Possible Decision:  Wetlands Application #479, House Addition & Garage Within Upland Review Area, 19 Eaglebrook Drive, Andrzejeski

Members reviewed the plans for this application.  It was noted that there is an existing 12’ x 12’ shed on the property, located on the hill.

The addition will be approximately 39’ from the limit of the wetlands.

The contractor will maintain 25’ of undisturbed vegetation between the wetland and the addition.  No significant clearing will be done, except for what is necessary to complete the project.

After brief discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Walton, seconded by Mr. Rondeau, and unanimously voted to approve Wetlands Application #479.

b.   Discussion/Possible Decision:  Wetlands Application #480, Activity within Upland Review Area, 107 Hampden Road, Crandall

Members reviewed the plans for this application, which includes a dwelling, pool and practice baseball field on a 12 acre site.

Michael Mocko represented the applicant and stated that the limit of activity will be within 83’ of the wetland line.  No excavation will take place within the 100’ buffer.  Only the proposed pool will require approximately 20’ grading within the 100’ buffer.  The ball field is currently meadow and will not need any clearing or grading.  The limits of grading and work will be outlined by a silt fence.

Mr. Rondeau made a motion, seconded by Mr. Walton, and unanimously voted to approve application #480.
