Patrice Carson noted that no plans had been submitted to the Planning Commission. Some written descriptions were submitted but they do not make specifications regarding both the Recreation Department or the Teen Center.  The commission also discussed the possibility of moving the Police Station to the former Fire Station.

After discussing the Plan "A" and Plan "B" project program proposals the board unanimously made a consensus to return the literature back to the Board of Selectmen and request that they get back text with more detail necessary for them to make a decision.

The commission discussed GIS training that will be necessary in order to get the system up and running.  Karl Walton suggested that there is a chemistry teacher at Somers High School familiar with GIS and that either she or a student might provide some training for land use staff.  Patrice will get some background information to the Commission for their next meeting.
