ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
April 13, 2004
Call To Order: The
Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:36 PM.
Members Present: John
Torres, Pamela Lloyd, Ed Mack Sr., Jim Meagher, Jr.
Absent: Dan Scully, James Beaulieu, Barbara Flebotte.
Public Hearing:
1.
Thomas and Leslie Crossen
Chairman Torres called the
Public Hearing to order at 7:37 PM.
Secretary Lloyd read the legal notice for Thomas and Leslie Crossen of
164 Sokol Road. Mr. Crossen approached
the Board to present his application for a 25' side yard setback variance to
construct a garage on an existing foundation.
No abutters were present.

Jamie W. Feagain
Secretary Lloyd read the
legal notice for Jamie W. Feagain of 75 Springfield Road. Mr. Feagain approached the Board to present
his application for a 25' side yard setback variance to construct a utility
shed. No abutters were present.
3.
Erik Gagne
Secretary Lloyd read the
legal notice for Erik Gagne of 68 White Oak Road. Mr. Gagne
approached the Board to present his application for a 25' side yard
setback variance for a proposed above ground swimming pool and deck. Abutter, Jason Pontz of 74 White Oak Road,
submitted a letter to the Board stating he had no problem with Mr. Gagne's
request. The letter was read into the
record.
Motion by Commissioner
Mack, Sr. to close the Public Hearing; second by Commissioner Meagher, Jr. The motion was approved unanimously and the
Public Hearing was adjourned at 8:04 PM.
Chairman Torres invited
the applicants to remain for the continuation of the regular meeting if they so
chose.
The regular meeting
resumed at 8:05 PM.
Minutes Approval -
February 10, 2004
Motion made by
Commissioner Meagher, Jr. to accept the ZBA Regular Meeting Minutes for
February 10, 2004 as presented; second by Commissioner Mack, Sr. The motion was approved unanimously.

After discussion, a motion
was made by Commissioner Mack, Sr. to cease discussion and vote on the Crossen
application; second by Commissioner Lloyd.
A variance for a 17' side yard variance to construct a garage on an
existing foundation was approved unanimously by the Board.

After discussion, a motion
was made by Commissioner Meagher, Jr. to cease discussion and vote on the
Feagain application; second by Commissioner Lloyd. A variance for an 18' side yard setback
variance to construct a utility shed was approved unanimously by the Board.
After discussion, a motion
was made by Commissioner Mack, Sr. to cease discussion and vote on the Gagne
application; second by Commissioner Meagher, Jr. A variance for a 10' side yard setback
variance for a swimming pool and deck was approved unanimously by the Board.
Old Business
1.
Complete update of "ZBA Applicants Guide"
The Board reviewed and
offered updates to a draft of the Zoning Board of Appeals Applicants Guide
which, when completed, will be provided as an informational tool to potential
applicants.
New Business: None.
Correspondence: None.
Bills: A
motion was made by Commissioner Mack, Sr. to approve all bills for the ZBA
including the Journal Inquirer in the amount of $322.67; second by Commissioner
Lloyd. The motion was approved
unanimously.
Adjournment: A
motion was made by Commissioner Lloyd to adjourn the meeting; second by
Commissioner Mack, Sr. The motion was
approved unanimously and the meeting ended at 9:10 PM.
