OLD BUSINESS:
Jim Burgess will try contacting Joe Tolisano regarding his interest in speaking to the Advisory Board on Civil Preparedness.
The Advisory Board is pleased to welcome Dorothy Hillman as a replacement for Leone Lakonski.
NEW BUSINESS:
The Advisory Board is searching for a replacement for Loyal Madden.
An assignment sheet was given to each board member for their help in contacting other seniors to get their feeling on several prepared questions and finding out what they would like to see happening at their center.
Bev Zuraw spoke of some problems she is having preparing the senior newsletter. These are as follows:
Newsletter is very expensive to produce and mail. Ways need to be looked into to make this process less costly. Perhaps copies of the newsletter could be placed at strategic locations for the seniors to pick up. Printing help might be available from the high school or the prison. Another possibility was including the newsletter in the North Central News.
COMMENTS:
Care needs to be exercised in using the step at the front entrance.
Senior bus should start using the side entrance for safety reasons.
Parking spots need to be relined for greater ease in parking.
Jim Conlin has resigned as Program Chairman and as a member of the Scholarship Committee. A replacement is needed.
ADJOURNMENT: Adjournment at 1:50 P.M. by motion of Dora Randall and seconded by Norma Keeney.
Respectfully submitted,
Elaine L. Bemont, Secretary
