Minutes of the August 26, 2004 meeting were approved unanimously as presented (Klein, Butler).  We will get clarification from All-Phase regarding change orders brought up at the 9/7 site meeting.

SHS---Report for 9-5 from E.Zahner was distributed.  Discussion about IMTL bills, which he has been working on with the testing company, no change in testing firm yet.

Update from B.Boutwell on expenses to date with handout.

Lockers---same color as existing ones, what color to put in strip across top? Motion approved for color sub-committee to convene and make decision (Butler, Broer).

T.Jefferson is in discussions regarding furniture and possibility of prisoners making some for cost savings.  David Wedge at SFU stated items under $10,000 do not have to go out to bid;  T.Jefferson will get clarification of this statement.

SES---Report for 9-5 from E.Zahner was discussed.  Request to have electric and water lines that weren’t on plans put on as-builts for the future, since two (not on drawings) have already been hit.

Asbestos abatement report was presented; there is some around piping in old locker room.

Update from B.Boutwell on expenses to date with handout.

List of pending change orders from D.Moser followed by discussion.

Access to fire hydrant in back of school---$3689 to tie into paved play area from SHS side of building.  To use existing road along side of school, extending with curved loop, adding two inches topping, 12-foot roadway, preferred by Fire Marshall, price about the same.  A motion was made (Butler), seconded (Broer), and unanimously approved to go with the latter, SKC2A and B options as presented, not to exceed $3689, pending final review and recommendation by MPN .

Special inspections---A motion was made, seconded, and unanimously approved (Butler, Cowles) to hire Macchi Engineers for $5000 for special inspections.

Cafeteria---D.Moser presented drawings of Option A, “4 bay” for $195,000 and Option B, “3 bay” for $175,000.  B is 25% smaller and electrical lines would not have to be moved, but it is only $20,000 less.  D.Moser will ask Enfield Builders to re-work their figures.
