CONSERVATION MINUTES

SPECIAL MEETING

Thursday, March 17, 2005

7:00 p.m.     Town Hall

 

I.          CALL TO ORDER

 

Chairman Joan Formeister called the special meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Members Joan Formeister, Sarah Moynihan, Karl Walton and Lise Wood were present and constituted a quorum.

 

II.        OLD BUSINESS

 

a.            Discussion/Possible Decision: Wetlands Application #516, Grading for New Home Within Upland Review Area, 47 Harvest Hill, Mountford

 

Chairman Formeister presented copies of the plans for review.  In addition, a memo received from Wetlands Agent David Askew was read stating that a small infiltration trench is to be installed at the base of the fill as discussed at the last meeting.  The memo also recommended that a silt fence be installed along the boundary of the conservation easement prior to lot grading.

 

A motion was made by Karl Walton, seconded by Lise Wood and unanimously voted to approve Mountford’s wetlands application #516 for 47 Harvest Hill with the conditions that the drainage at the base of the fill be installed as shown on the plans and that a silt fence be installed along the boundary of the conservation easement prior to lot grading.

 

III.            ADJOURNMENT

 

A motion was made by Karl Walton, seconded by Lise Wood and unanimously voted to adjourn the Conservation Commission’s Special meeting of March 17, 2005 at 7:03 p.m.
