ASSESSOR’S OFFICE
TOWN HALL
Co-Chairman David Olsen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
2. MEMBERS PRESENT
Present were Robert E. Loubier, David Olsen, Patricia J. Juda, and David Pinney.

ASSESSOR’S OFFICE REPORT
· Pat reported 585 personal property declarations were mailed Sept. 30.
· Renters Rebate Report to State filed September 20.
· August Sales Ratios were filed September 27.
· Board of Assessment Appeals met on September 27 & 28. Held 3 hearings, reducing the Grand list by $8,180; $165.65. Assessor’s office handled all the clerical duties for this board.
· Undergoing conversion to the new “GUI” system. It’s installed but not bridged. October 7th was spent training on the new system. We will dedicate October 11 to training as well.
· There are 350 field inspections to be done for 10/1/05 list.
· In reference to reviewing the Town Hall hours, Pat reported no one from the public utilized the Assessor’s office from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. this evening, which was typical for Thursday evenings.

BILLS TO BE PAID
· Office Max - $ 228.33
· Office Max - $ 18.91
· Prophecy One - $373.92 (Property Imaging) Hold until all photos are installed.
· Prophecy One - $ 6,685.27 (Retainage) Hold until all photos are installed
· CAAO Handbook Revisions – Authorized payment of new handbook.
M/M/C to pay Office Max and CAAO and to hold bills to Prophecy One until job is completed.
Do not have photos of all dwelling units. Some photos need to be resized.
M/M/C to accept Assessor’s
revaluation report.
The town’s website at Prophecyone.us is no longer available. The Assessor’s office has been receiving complaints. Pat reported it was utilized not only by local realtors, appraisers, insurance agents and attorneys, but town hall staff as well.
