Public Hearing

1.      John and Karen Gladu

The public hearing opened at 7:41 P.M.  The Acting Secretary read the legal notice.  Because this application is a continuation, Chairman Torres seated alternate, Robert Minch in place of Edward Mack who was absent at the last meeting.

Mr. Gladu of 4 Rye Hill Circle approached the Board.  He submitted a letter from the Town Sanitarian indicating that pushing the addition back, as suggested in the last ZBA meeting, would interfere with the septic system and was not an alternative.  Chairman Torres read a letter from abutters John and Mima Batiste stating they were against the variance for safety reasons.  No other abutters were present.

After discussion ended, Chairman Torres re-seated Edward Mack.

2.      Michael Hearn

The Acting Secretary read the legal notice.  Mr. Hearn of 407 Hall Hill Road approached the Board.  He is seeking a variance to increase his garage to two bays.  No abutters were present.  Mr. Hearn submitted two letters in support of his request.

3.      David R. Monahan

The Acting Secretary read the legal notice.  Mr. Monahan of 67 Pinney Road approached the Board.  He is seeking a variance for location of a propane storage tank.  No abutters were present.

Chairman Torres submitted a letter from the applicant’s attorney to withdraw their request for a variance at this time.
