Call to Order

Chairman Lou Bachetti called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. Tonight’s meeting was a single item agenda meeting with the primary purposes of learning about Economic Development in small towns.

Attendance

Members present were, David Reed, Richard Cheney Ron Elliott, Louis Bachetti and Robert Schmidt. Maura Gardiner was absent. Also in attendance were David Pinney, Kathy Devlin, Peter Klein, Blinky Calder, and Guest Speakers Mark Waterhouse and Leslie Cosgrove from Garnet Consulting Service.

Approval of Minutes

Minutes from the February Meeting were not presented for Approval.

Guest Speaker

Mark Waterhouse spoke to the group on his experience and expertise concerning economic development in small towns. Mark had been engaged for a number of small towns in North Central Ct. in assisting and guiding them in their decision making on economic development. Mark’s presentation provided for interactive questions, observations and discussion and proved to be both informative and thought provoking.

Adjournment

The meeting was officially adjourned at 8: 57 p. m.
