ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
May 9, 2006
Call To Order: Chairman Torres called the meeting to order at 7:37 P.M.
Members Present: John Torres, Edward Mack, Sr., Robert Minch, Barbara Flebotte and Daniel Scully.
Alternate Robert Minch is seated.
Chairman Torres called the public hearing to order at 7:38 P.M.

Robert J. Smyth
Secretary, Dan Scully, read the legal notice. Mr. Smyth of 104B Four Bridges Rd. approached the Board to request a variance to enlarge two existing bedrooms.
Chairman Torres read a letter from abutter, Charles LaFountain, in favor of Mr. Smyth’s application. No abutters were present.

Mark A. Kloter
The secretary read the legal notice. Mr. Kloter of 63 Bradfield Dr. approached the Board to request a variance for a storage shed.
No abutters were present.
Motion made by Commissioner Mack to close Robert J. Smyth hearing and to continue Mark A. Kloter hearing; second by Commissioner Minch. Motion approved unanimously.
The public hearing ended at 8:11 P.M. The regular meeting continued at 8:12 P.M.
Motion made by Commissioner Scully to approve the ZBA April 11, 2006 minutes with the following corrections: first page, third line, remove “Chairman Torres welcomed Robert Minch as a permanent regular member to the Board”; second page under 1. Richard A. McCullough, Inc., last sentence to read, “Motion application for variance approved unanimously”; second by Commissioner Flebotte. Motion approved unanimously to accept the minutes with corrections.

Public Hearing

Robert J. Smyth
After much discussion, motion made by Commissioner Flebotte to cease discussion and vote to approve a 5’ variance to Robert J. Smyth of 104B Four Bridges Road; second by Commissioner Minch. Motion approved unanimously.
2.
Mark A. Kloter
This hearing is continued to the next ZBA meeting.
Old Business: Commissioner Scully passed out copies of the roster.
New Business: ZBA Clerk, Candida Daigle, submitted her letter of resignation to pursue a new job opportunity.
Correspondence: None.
Bills: Motion made by Commissioner Minch to accept all ZBA bills including the Journal Inquirer in the amount of $306.93; second by Commissioner Mack. Motion approved unanimously.
Adjournment: Motion made by Commissioner Mack to adjourn the meeting; second by Commissioner Flebotte. Motion approved unanimously. The meeting ended at 8:30 P.M.
