TOWN OF SOMERS

LIBRARY EXPANSION STUDY COMMITTEE

July 17, 2006

The meeting was called to order at 5 PM.

MEMBERS PRESENT; Ed Burns, Bob Socha, Mike Gruber, Shirley Warner, Jim Conlin and Irma Claman. Francine Aloisa was also present.

Tim Welch was absent.

The committee will meet on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at 6 PM to vote on the selection of an architect to prepare preliminary drawings for the proposed library expansion.

Shirley Warner moved that a letter of thanks be sent to each of the architects who expressed an interest in working on the proposed library expansion. Mike Gruber seconded and approved unanimously.

Mr. Dale Cutler of the architectural firm of Kenyon & Cutler made his presentation.

Callaway & Wyeth spoke next .

A short discussion was had by speaker phone with Barbara Joslin of Best & Joslin with the committee present.

The meeting adjourned at 7:55 PM.
