LIBRARY EXPANSION STUDY COMMITTEE

 

 

July 26, 2006

 

The meeting was called to order at 5:10 PM.

 

MEMBERS PRESENT:  Ed Burns, Bob Socha, Mike Gruber, Shirley Warner, Jim Conlin and Irma Claman. Tim Welch was absent. Also present were Francine Aloisa and Barbara Joslin, the architect.

 

Discussion was had about the Scope of Services submitted by Best Joslin.

 

Several very preliminary plans were presented by Barbara Joslin for discussion.

 

Shirley Warner moved that the Library Expansion Study Committee recommend to

the selectmen that a separate referendum be held to vote on the proposed library expansion prior to the general election. Seconded by Mike Gruber and approved unanimously.

 

The next meeting will be held on August 3, 2006 at 5 PM.
