I. CALL TO ORDER: At 7:35 PM by Tom Chilicki

lV. REPORTS:
A. Park
Projects: Discussion was held on
the status of the new playground. The status of the STEAP Grant will be decided
in September. The commission acknowledged the thank you card sent by the
playground committee.
Tom Chilicki will
forward all quotes for irrigation systems, well and water supply options to
Dave Pinney in hopes of immediately starting this CIP project. It appears that
this project will cost around $25K depending upon final decisions made on water
and electrical installation.
Tom Chilicki will
coordinate the purchase and installation of the volleyball court lights with
Dave Pinney.
Tom Chilicki will
schedule a meeting (with sub committee members Ed Palomba and Alan Walker) with
CT Valley Fence and Unlimited Landscaping to begin the CIP field improvement
projects for fields 1-4.
B. Budgets:
Reviewed (as forwarded by Jen
Charette). Tom Chilicki will request an updated Fund 16 amount from Ed
Sullivan.
C. Summer
Camp Update: Reviewed with Jen
Charette. The commission requested a final camp summary for the September
regular meeting.
V. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Summer Camp Long Range Recreational
Study: No update
(Note: sub-title
should be “Long Range Recreational Study). Jen Charette will coordinate the
yearly submittals of budgets, registrations and bylaws for all affiliated
sports associations, and invite all to the September regular meeting.
