TOWN OF SOMERS

LIBRARY EXPANSION STUDY COMMITTEE

 

August 30, 2006

 

The meeting was called to order at 5 PM.

 

MEMBERS PRESENT: Ed Burns, Bob Socha, Jim Conlin, Tim Welch, Mike Gruber and Irma Claman. Shirley Warner was absent. Also present were Francine Aloisa and Barbara Joslin.

 

Tim Welch moved to accept the minutes of August 23, 2006. Seconded by Jim Conlin and approved unanimously.

 

Discussion was had about the plans for the proposed expansion and information necessary for submission for the state grant to be submitted by 4 P.M. on Friday, September 1, 2006.

 

The committee will meet with the selectmen on September 5^th at 7 PM. We will also meet on September 6^th at 5 PM at the library to finalize the letter to be sent to the town residents bringing them up to date on the library expansion project.

 

The meeting adjourned at 6:10 PM.
