FIRE COMMISSION

REGULAR MEETING MINUTES

Thursday, September 21, 2006

The meeting was called to order by Mr. Lawlor at 7:00

Members present:

Father Bruno, Mrs. Van Tasel, Mr. Rohrbach, and Mr. Lawlor.

Also Mr. David Pinney, First Selectman.

Executive Session:

A motion was made by Mr. Rohrbach, seconded by Father Bruno and unanimously accepted to take the agenda out of order. Item #5 (regarding the fire marshal position) was moved to the beginning of the agenda.

A motion was made by Fr. Bruno, seconded by Mr. Rohrbach to move into Executive Session to discuss Personnel Matters and to invite Mr. Pinney to join us.

At approximately 7:50 a motion was made by Mrs. Van Tasel, seconded by Mr. Rohrbach and unanimously approved to move out of executive session. At that time Mr. Pinney left the meeting.

Fire Marshal:

Mr. Summers reported on a number of Certificates of Occupancy that he was reviewing and inspections that were in progress. He and Mr. Reynolds will work on a “spread-sheet” to list all inspections that are required on an annual basis and give the FC an updated report on the progress.

Adjournment:

A motion was made by Fr. Bruno, seconded by Mrs. Van Tasel and unanimously approved to adjourn at 8:15.
