LIBRARY EXPANSION STUDY COMMITTEE

October 18; 2006

The meeting was called to order at 5 PM.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Ed Burns, Shirley Warner, Jim Conlin, Mike' Gruber, Bob Socha, Tim Welch and Irma Claman.

Shirley Warner moved to approve the minutes of September 27, 2006. Mike Gruber seconded. Approved unanimously, with the exception of Irma Claman who abstained.

Shirley Warner moved to approve the minutes of October 11, 2006. Jim Conlin seconded and approved unanimously.

Irma Claman moved to approve payment of $6000 to Best Joslin, as per bill dated October 11, 2006. Seconded by Mike Gruber and approved unanimously.

The total payment to date to, Best Joslin has been $31,500, p~yable as follows:

A request will be made to Best Joslin for a statement of work completed and not billed.

Shirley Warner reported that the brochure is at the printers and should be ready by Tuesday, October 24th.

Tim Welch moved to authorize payment of up to .$750 for the mailing of the brochures. Mike Gruber seconded and approved unanimously.

Ed Burns and Shirley Warner reported on their meeting with the town treasurer.

The procedure for the referendum was discussed.

The meeting adjourned at 6:08 PM.
