TOWN OF SOMERS

LIBRARY EXPANSION STUDY COMMITTEE

November 29, 2006

The meeting was called to order at 5 PM.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Bob Socha, Ed Burns, Mike Gruber, Tim Welch and Irma Claman. Jim Conlin and Shirley Warner were absent. Also present was Francine Aloisa.

Francine Aloisa announced that the $500,000 state library grant had been awarded to the library.

Tim Welch moved to authorize PC'iyment of $156.00 for the mailing of the second letter to town residents informing them of th~r library expansion plans. Mike Gruber seconded and approved unanimously.

Tim Welch moved to approve payment of $310.00 for the printing of the second mailing. Seconded by Mike Gruber and approved unanimously.

Tim Welch moved to accept the minutes of November 15, 2006. Seconded by Ed Burns and approved unanimously.

The committee reviewed the second letter to be sent to town residents.

The meeting adjourned at 6:45 PM.
