Minutes of December 21, 2006 Meeting

Meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by the Chairman, David Reed.

 

Members present were David Reed, Karl Walton, Everett Morrill, and Bob Lapadula.

 

On a motion made by Karl Walton and seconded by Everett Morrill, minutes of the December 5^th, 12^th, and 13^th, 2006 were approved unanimously.

 

Correspondence: none.

 

A motion by Karl Walton, and seconded by Bob Lapadula was to contract with BSC Group, 180 Glastonbury Blvd, Suite 103, Glastonbury CT 06033 as consultant to our project of developing a Somersville Streetscape Master Plan. Fee for these services was as proposed in Section 5 of the BSC Group proposal for this project ($23,500.00). Motion carried unanimously.

 

The Chairman asked members to review the BSC proposal, the Scope of Work and the RFQ for the next January 4^th meeting so that we can begin meaningful discussions with our consultant regarding our mission, goals and objectives.

 

The next meeting is scheduled for January 4^th, 2007 at Somers Town Hall.

 

There being no further business, Bob Lapadula made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Everett Morrill.  Passed unanimously.
