ZONING MINUTES

SPECIAL MEETING

December 27, 2006

Town Hall     7:00pm

 

I.          CALL TO ORDER

 

Vice Chairman Robert Martin called the special meeting to order at 7:00pm.  Members Jill Conklin, Robert Martin, and Alternate Member Dan Fraro (seated for Lise Wood) were present and constituted a quorum.  Town Attorney Carl Landolina and First Selectman David Pinney were also present.

 

II.            EXECUTIVE SESSION

 

Meet With Town Attorney To Review Pending Litigation In The Matter Of Grower Direct Farms, Inc. Vs. The Somers Zoning Commission

 

A motion was made by Jill Conklin, seconded by Dan Fraro, and unanimously voted to go into Executive Session to review pending litigation in the matter of Grower Direct Farms, Inc. vs. the Somers Zoning Commission, and invite the Town Attorney and First Selectman into the Executive Session.

 

At 7:40pm, the Zoning Commission came out of Executive Session.

 

III.            DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION

 

In Regard To The Above-Referenced Litigation

 

There was no discussion.

 

IV.            ADJOURNMENT

 

A motion was made by Jill Conklin, seconded by Dan Fraro, and unanimously voted to adjourn the December 27, 2006 Zoning Commission meeting at 7:45pm.
