Town Hall Conference Room

1.  Call to order: 

David Reed, Chairman, called meeting to order at 7:07 p.m.

Members Present:

David Reed, Ron Elliott, Everett Morrill, Barry Moynihan, Jill Conklin and Ann Levesque

Also, present Aris Stalis of BSC Group and David Pinney, First Selectman

Members Absent:  Karl, Walton, Pat Kennedy and Bob Lapadula

Meeting Minutes of Feb. 1, 2007 were unanimously approved.

A presentation was given by Aris Stalis on a Review of Program Goals, Site Opportunities and Constraints as a preparation for a Public Hearing.  Recommendations/changes were made by the Committee on several aspects of the presentation which will be implemented into the Presentation by BSC Group.  A public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, March 7 at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined in Somersville.  Hearing will be made public in local papers, dispersed throughout the business and residential community through flyers and placed on town website. 

Committee discussed future uses of several green areas, the Mill and other buildings in the targeted areas.

Motion made to adjourn at 8:30 p.m. and unanimously approved.
