MEETING MINUTES

February 21, 2007 – 8:00 pm

Selectmen’s Conference Room

1. Call to Order

Charlie Colby called the meeting to order at 8:03 pm.

2. Members Present

Charlie Colby, Rick Lees, Mike Duffy

Guest – Anne Logan, Mike from on the fly

3. Approval of Minutes

The minutes of 11-15-2006 were approved

4. Old Business

· Police Monitor on hold. The Town was granted 38 P$ machines from NU, 10 of these will be used for town use. The rest will be used by the Library. These have been picked up.

· Printer is all set in Town Clerks Office.

· We were shown a preview page from new website.

5. New Business

· Suggestion made by Rick Lees that Town boards and commissions get group list email address.

· Suggestion that Dave Pinney send out a memo to Town employees stating their Town email address and requesting that they use it.

· Motion was made by Charlie Colby to move forward with development of Town website development, this will start with the Town Clerks Office. Budget not to exceed $ 1,000.00. Seconded by Rick Lees. Unanimously approved.

· Suggestion was made to start with parts of the Town website that do not already exist elsewhere and then move on to refining other pages.

· A note needs to be sent out to users stating that the U drive is backed up, this is where important files need to be saved.

· Motion made by Rick Lees to create a distribution list for all Town committees, this list will be backed up on the server. Second by Charlie Colby. Unanimous approval.

· Mike Duffy left an 9:20

· Continued discussion about web site needs.

6. Audience Correspondence

· Update on Website

· Anne Logan asked if we are looking at sharing read only version of Town budget file on the network.

7. Next Meeting

The next meeting is scheduled for March 23, 2007, at 8:00 pm in the Selectmen’s Conference Room.

8. Adjournment

The meeting adjourned by mutual consent at 9:45 pm.
