The meeting was called to order at 5:10 PM. |
|
MEMBERS PRESENT: Tim Welch, Bob Socha, Shirley Warner, Andrew
Phillips, Mike Gruber, Phil Rosenthal and Irma Claman. Jim Conlin was absent. Also present was Francine Aloisa |
|
Shirley Warner moved to authorize payment of $661.08 to the Journal Inquirer for publication of legal notice for
architects. Seconded by Bob Socha and approved unanimously. |
|
Andy Phillips moved to reject the bids of JaCUNSKI Humes and
JCJ Architects because of non-compliance with the terms of the Request for
Proposal which required that the bid package was to be submitted by 4 PM on
May 10, 2007. The supplemental proposal form was not included with the bid
package for either architectural firm. Seconded by Irma Claman and approved
unanimously. |

It was recommended that the town attorney be consulted as to
the legality of rejecting the above two bids. |
|
The Library: Building Committee will
interview two architects on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 5 PM and 7 PM and two
architects on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 5 PM and 7 PM. |

Shirley Warner moved to approve the minutes of May 10, 2007,
Seconded by Bob Socha and approved unanimously. |
|
The meeting adjourned at 6:30 PM. |
