Minutes of Meeting on Thursday, May 17, 2007

Members Present:  David Reed, Barry Moynihan, Ron Elliott, Jill Conklin, Everett Morrill, Karl Walton, Aris Stalis, Patrice Carson and Ann Levesque

Members Absent:  Pat Kennedy and Bob Lapadula

Meeting called to order at 7:02 p.m. by Chairman Reed

1.  Aris Stalis presented a dry run of the presentation, including slides, to be given to the public at the open hearing on Thursday, May 31. 

2.  The committee gave their input/comments on the presentation.

3.   There was discussion on ways to get the word out to the public so that the hearing could be well attended by means of flyers in strategic areas, the town website, in the newspapers, word of mouth and tent signs in 2 gateways of Somersville.

4.  Public Hearing to be held on May 31, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Grammar School in Somersville, with discussion to follow by the committee.

5.  Next committee meeting on Thursday, June 7th, at 7 p.m.

Meeting adjourned by mutual consent at 8:20 p.m.
