The meeting was called to order at 5:10 PM.

 

MEMBERS PRESENT:  Shirley Warner, Bob Socha, Jim Conlin, Tim Welch, Phil Rosenthal and Irma Claman.  Andy Phillips and Mike Gruber were absent.

Also present were Francine Aloisa, Richard  Szczypek, Jeannette O’Connell and Abi Subramanian of Tai Soo Kim.Shirley Warner moved to approve the minutes of July 25, 2007, as amended, and August 9, 2007.  Seconded by Jim Conlin and approved unanimously.

 

Shirley Warner and Francine Aloisa reported on the August 15th meeting held with them, David Pinney, Ed Sullivan and Mary Louise Jensen of the State Library to discuss necessary conditions before the contract with the state for the  $500,000 grant is signed.

 

Richard Szczypek advised the committee that the mechanical consultants determined that the existing boiler room site is sufficient for the new library.

 

Jeannette O’Connell presented revised plans for the proposed library.  Discussion followed.

 

Richard Szpzypek presented to the committee four proposed entry porch elevations for comments.

 

The meeting adjourned at  6:30 PM.
