COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Meals on Wheels –
Senior Lunches – Arlene Yarnes
stated the first lunch will be held on Tuesday, September 25th, at
the high school. Sign-up sheet is now
available. Limit is 60 people..
Senior Citizens Club – Arlene Yarnes
reported that the storage area of this facility is badly in need of being
cleaned up. Things are so crowded back
there and there is no room for the quilting supplies. Much stuff has to be thrown out and/or
properly stored. Also, there is a need
to have the rug cleaned at least once a year.
Communications – At a recent selectmen’s meeting, Ann
Houston was appointed to the Senior Advisory Board. Unfortunately, Ann is very ill at this time
and it is not known if she will be able to handle this task. Norma will continue to prepare the newsletter
until this situation is cleared up.
School Liaison – Donna Doyker
was not present at this meeting.
Senior Support Services – Pat Bachetti
is currently working with five people.
They will be holding an auction in October and will be having an ice
cream social soon.

not present today but she was looking into the purchase of gift bricks/tiles as

– Flu shots will be given by appointment on Tuesday, October 16, 2007.
Responsibility

function on the board. Perhaps there
will be more discussion on this at a later date.
