The ad hoc committee last met on  4/29/08 and hopes to meet every Tuesday at 7:00pm. Two of the youth members created a skateboard park “wishlist” after online research. Once Karen receives a final list from the boys, she will research cost . Discussion was conducted regarding potential sites for the skateboard park: among the proposed sites were the basketball court on Field Road (move the basketball court to the town hall tennis court) and the volley ball court on Field Rd(the members felt that this location was not large enough). Estimated space needed would be approximately 120ft by 80ft. JJ Wassmuth shared her research of American Ramp Company. This company assists with the design, construction and funding research of community skate board parks.

JJ Wassmuth met with Mike Provencher and David Pinney regarding the condition of the new Firehouse Field. The Lacrosse association as graciously offered to fund the cost of grub control application once they receive an estimate of costs from Parks Department.
