LIBRARY BUILDING COMMITTEE
July 9, 2008
The meeting was called to order at 5:10 PM.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Tim Welch, Andy Phillips, Shirley Warner, Bob Socha, Phil Rosenthal, Mike Gruber and Irma Claman.
Francine Aloisa was also present.
Francine Aloisa reported that the selectmen have received two applications for the position of clerk of the works. A third application had been received previously.
David Pinney, Bob Socha and Phil Rosenthal will comprise a committee to interview the three applicants for the clerk of the works. Andy Phillips and Mike Gruber will also assist in the interviews, if available. The town hall will set up the interviews.
Consulting Engineering Services Inc. will prepare new drawings for the change in the placement of the electrical service to storage room 101 in the new addition.
Shirley Warner moved to approve payment of $995.00 to Independent Materials Testings Labs Inc. for soil testing, as per bill dated June 28, 2008. Seconded by Andy Phillips and approved unanimously.
The committee was informed that Cutter Enterprises expects the library to be completed by the end of August, 2009. The library will be closed from April 6 to May 15, 2009.
