Somers Playground Brick-a-Thon Campaign

The Goal of the Somers Playgrounds Advisory Committee is to provide a safe
age appropriate playground environment for the Town of Somers.
The committee has developed a five-year plan to replace unsafe existing
equipment in the three town playground areas: Field Road, School Street, and
Battle Street. Some equipment on our playgrounds is approximately 60 years old.
It is our intention to modernize the facilities and to make the playgrounds
compliant with the American Disabilities Act. This will result in a safer
environment where our children can play in the future.
