Voter Registration

Resident's may register to vote at the Town Clerk's office

Voting Requirements

  • Referendum – person must be either a registered voter or a property owner with a value of $1000.00 or more (motor vehicle is included)
  • Primary – voter must be registered with a party affiliation
  • Elections – must be a registered voter (no party affiliation required)

Voting Locations

Please remember to bring a valid form of identification to the polls such as a driver's license.

All registered voters may cast their votes at the following two polling places:

    Somers Senior Center
    Lower Level of Town Hall

If you are unsure which polling place to you vote at contact the Town Clerk’s office at 763-8206 or the Registrar’s office at 763-8211

Absentee Ballots

Absentee ballots and ballot applications are currently available at the Town Clerk's office to registered voters who will be out of town on the day of the election, are actively serving in the military, are physically disabled or ill, or whose religious tenets forbid secular activity on the day of the election.
