What is SomersNow.com ?
SomersNow.com
is the community website
for Somers, Connecticut operated entirely by
volunteers. It was created to give the community a single
source of information about what is happening in Somers. The website was
started in October 2001. All material posted conforms with our
Posting Policy. In order to
facilitate the expenses of running this site, we rely on donations from the
community. Our official sponsor is the Somers Rotary.
Why did you start SomersNow.com ?
As part of a survey conducted by the
Somers Community Partnership Council, one of the most suggested improvements
for the community was a website that included ALL community events
and happenings. The goal is to improve volunteerism and involvement in
community activities.
