Four Town Fair Update

Did you see our display at the Four Town Fair? It was a wonderful display and earned First Place Honors. Hopefully you also enjoyed the Girl Scouts in the Parade. We had a wonderful time and we hope you did too. Thanks to Mary Morrell, Margaret Teal, and Denise Jewell who worked so hard on these items!

Upcoming Dates

Cadette/Senior Weekend

Our oldest troops are attending the Cadette Senior Weekend On October 14-16. See your troop leader for exact information. We all hope the weather is great for you!!

Conference Babysitting

Our service unit offers babysitting to parents of Elementary School students as they attend the evening conferences. This is done in cooperation with the Elementary School office. We are pleased to offer this service to the community to assist families in attending their conferences.

Magazine Drive

The Connecticut Trails Council announces its annual Fall Product Drive. Scouts will be asking you to subscribe to your favorite magazines through Scouts and support our programs. They will also be selling various food items. Please consider helping your favorite scout.
Dates: October 8 through November 4

Source to Sea Cleanup

Troop 5083 has joined hundreds of groups throughout Connecticut to clean up the Connecticut Ri8ver and its tributaries. The troop spent one recent Saturday cleaning up the banks of the river starting at the Northern Boat Launch in Thompsonville and through the Suffield chore. They collected 30 bags of garbage and left with a sense of accomplishment and community service.

Northern Girls Helping Southern Girls

Troop 5211 has just completed its Hurricane Relief effort called Northern Girls Helping Southern Girls. They collected personal care items to send to shelters in effected areas. Thanks to Liz Heller and her girls on coordinating this amazing Service Project.
